Welcome to the xDai STAKE Staking Dashboard

A curation dashboard for STAKE staking statistics and data from both the EasyStaking application on Ethereum and POSDAO staking on the xDai Chain.

See the comparison table to learn more about rewards and tradeoffs between these two different staking methods.

EasyStaking

Participants can place STAKE on Ethereum into the EasyStaking Protocol and earn rewards. Reward percentages are influenced by:

  1. Amount of time STAKE is placed in EasyStaking.
  2. Total amount staked in EasyStaking.

A portion of earned rewards are also distributed to Liquidity Providers (LPs). Currently, the top 100 participants in the STAKE-ETH pool on Uniswap receive STAKE rewards. Rewards are based on participation metrics from EasyStaking and the amount of liquidity provided. LPs also receive instant withdrawal fees when EasyStakers choose to exit the platform instantly.

EasyStakers and LPs each receive a share of the 15% emissions generated by their participation. For more information, see details on EasyStaking and reward calculation and distribution.

POSDAO Staking

STAKE on xDai is staked by validators and delegators to secure the xDai chain with the POSDAO (Proof of Stake Decentralized Autonomous Organization) protocol. A UI embedded in BlockScout is used by participants to add, move, and withdraw STAKE and claim staking rewards.

Validator sets are selected on a weekly basis - called a staking epoch - with a maximum of 19 active validators per staking epoch. If there are more than 19 validator candidates, validator pools with higher amounts of STAKE (total STAKE from validator + all delegators) are more likely to be selected. However, a random value is also used to ensure fair selection to each staking epoch.

Each validator pool splits earned rewards equally from a staking epoch. Distribution within a pool is determined by the percentage of STAKE provided to the pool by a validator and their delegators. For more information, see details on POSDAO.
